BusinessLeaders.ai Launches Nationwide Call for Business Decision-Makers to Share Their AI Adoption Journeys

Artificial Intelligence (AI) has infiltrated boardrooms of companies and organizations alike, and BusinessLeaders.ai, a new research-driven platform, is launching a nationwide call for business decision-makers to tell their stories of AI adoption, both the good and the bad.

Founded by Chinonso Anyaehie, PhD researcher in Information Systems at the Sam M. Walton College of Business, BusinessLeaders.ai aims to cut through the hype and amplify the actual voices of business executives who have trialed AI in their businesses.

“There’s a lot of FOMO on AI right now—research suggests that only 70 to 80 percent of AI projects fail to achieve their goals,” said Anyaehie. “We want to hear from the actual leaders who were trying to solve a problem or even create a competitive edge—what went wrong, what went right, and what happened next. These stories will help advance a responsible and sustainable roadmap for AI adoption.”

Why It Matters

AI has been positioned as the next source of competitive advantage; however, many companies are struggling across sectors, from bad data infrastructure to misaligned strategy, culture, and expectations. In the same breath, there are numerous heartwarming success stories: companies that have realized verifiable productivity, customer engagement, and innovation improvements in their organizations.

BusinessLeaders.ai hopes to bridge research and practice by:

• Documenting failure symptoms and the remedial actions taken afterward.

• Documenting success symptoms and the organizational setting that allowed for them.

• Delivering actionable implications to practitioners, executives and academics.

Book-in-Progress

The insights garnered from BusinessLeaders.ai will also inform forthcoming book put together by Anyaehie that includes case studies, frameworks, and actionable lessons for decision-makers navigating AI adoption in the future.

Call to Business Leaders

BusinessLeaders.ai is looking for CEOs, CIOs, CTOs, and transformation leaders from across the country who want to share their stories through interviews in a confidential setting.

“If you’re a business leader and have wrestled with AI adoption—be it unsuccessfully, veered in a different direction, or successful—we would love to hear from you,” said Anyaehie. “Your perspective can help aid not only others but could also help influence the academic and practitioner frameworks that helps encapsulate AI.”
